In new update of kali "kali 2016.2" the sound is giving us problems, we cannot hear sound of our device it's like sound is disabled and we cannot enable it so here is the fix for this sound issue.
Step 1 : Open Terminal.
Step 2 : type "pulseaudio -D"(it's important to write "D" in capslock.)
Step 3 : press Enter.
Step 4 : try to increase the volume.
